1. Who we are

Vyre is a pet-observation application developed and operated by Pacarizi, an individual developer and the legal owner of Vyre for purposes of this Policy. References to “Vyre,” “we,” “us,” or “our” mean Pacarizi operating the Vyre service.

For privacy or legal enquiries, contact orgespacarizii0@gmail.com. For general customer support, contact getvyre@gmail.com.

2. Information we may process

Depending on the features you use, Vyre may process the following categories of information:

  • Account information: information used to create or access your account, which may include your name, email address, authentication provider identifier, and sign-in status.
  • Pet information: details you choose to add about a pet, such as a name, species, breed, age, profile details, or other information you provide.
  • Photos, videos and audio: media you deliberately capture or select for analysis.
  • Analysis information: AI-generated observations, scan results, history, or related records associated with your use of Vyre where those features are enabled.
  • Usage and technical information: information needed to operate, secure, diagnose and improve the service, such as app version, device or operating-system information, timestamps, error information, and feature usage.
  • Purchase or entitlement information: information needed to determine access to paid features, credits, subscriptions, trials or entitlements, where applicable. Payment processing itself may be handled by the platform through which you obtained Vyre.
  • Support communications: messages and information you send when asking for help, reporting a problem, exercising a privacy right, or requesting account deletion.

Vyre only requests device permissions when a feature needs them, such as camera, microphone, or photo-library access. You can control these permissions through your device settings.

3. How we use information

We may use information to provide and maintain Vyre; authenticate users; analyze user-submitted pet media; display results and history; provide support; detect abuse, fraud, security issues and technical failures; manage credits, subscriptions or entitlements; comply with legal obligations; and improve reliability and product experience.

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, processing may rely on performance of our agreement with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing Vyre, your consent where required, or compliance with legal obligations.

4. AI and media processing

Important: Vyre provides automated observational guidance about visible or audible pet signals. It is not a veterinary diagnosis, medical device, veterinarian, or emergency service.

When you submit a photo, video or audio clip for analysis, the content and information needed to process that request may be transmitted to infrastructure and AI service providers acting on our behalf. The purpose is to generate the requested analysis, operate the feature, prevent misuse, and maintain service reliability.

Please do not intentionally submit media containing personal information about people unless it is necessary for your use of the feature and you have the right to provide it.

5. Service providers and disclosures

Vyre may use third-party providers to operate parts of the service. These may include Supabase for backend, database and authentication infrastructure; OpenAI for AI-powered processing; Apple and/or Google for sign-in functionality; and Apple for App Store distribution, purchases or subscription-related services where applicable.

These providers process information under their own terms and privacy obligations or as service providers to Vyre, depending on the service. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse or security incidents, or respond to lawful requests.

We do not describe personal information as being sold to advertisers. If Vyre's data practices materially change in the future, this Policy will be updated.

6. Data retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing the service, maintaining security and records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and meeting legal obligations. Different categories of information may have different retention periods.

If you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymize information associated with your account that we are not required to retain, subject to reasonable time needed to verify and complete the request and to any limited backup, security, fraud-prevention, financial, or legal-retention requirements.

7. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or portability of certain personal information, or to object to certain processing. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent and to complain to your local data-protection authority.

To make a privacy request, email orgespacarizii0@gmail.com. We may need to verify that the request comes from the account holder before acting on it.

For account-deletion instructions specifically, see the Account Deletion page.

8. Children

Vyre is not directed to children under 13. If the law where you live requires a higher age for a person to consent to the processing of personal information, users below that age should use Vyre only with the involvement and authorization of a parent or legal guardian. If you believe a child provided personal information without appropriate authorization, contact us.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information. No internet service or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, and we cannot promise absolute security.

10. International processing

Vyre and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we take steps designed to use appropriate safeguards for international transfers of personal information.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Vyre changes or as legal requirements evolve. The “Last updated” date above will identify the latest version. Material changes may also be communicated in the app or through another appropriate channel.
