The short version
Vyre is a pet-care and training app. The information you enter helps the app maintain your pet profiles, guided training progress, reminders and shared-care features. Some information is stored on your device. If you sign in, selected account and pet information can sync through our cloud services.
This policy covers the Vyre mobile app and this website. The website is a static information site and does not intentionally use advertising or website analytics scripts.
Information we handle
- Account and sign-in: account identifier and authentication details needed to sign in or keep your account secure. Sign-in may be provided by email or Apple, depending on the option you choose.
- Pet profile: details you add about your pet, such as name, profile information and an optional photo.
- Training and care: course activity, progress, reflections, care logs, routines and reminder settings you choose to create. Reflection notes are used to support your experience in the app.
- Shared care: invite and household membership details, plus the pet and care information you choose to share with another caregiver.
- Subscription status: purchase and entitlement information used to provide or restore Premium access. Payment is handled by the relevant app store.
- App diagnostics and usage: app screens and product events, such as course progress, feature use, paywall activity and subscription flow events. When you sign in, analytics may be associated with your Supabase account identifier.
How we use information
We use information to operate account sign-in and sync, show the pet profiles you create, save training and care progress, deliver reminders you enable, coordinate shared care, provide Premium entitlements, understand how the app is used, and maintain service security and reliability.
Vyre's analytics are intended to describe product use. We do not intentionally send pet names or the text of reflection notes as analytics event properties. The app's session replay configuration masks text inputs and images and disables touch, log and network capture. Analytics and replay settings can change as the app evolves; this policy will be updated when our practices change.
Service providers
Vyre uses service providers to operate parts of the app. These currently include:
- Supabase for account authentication, cloud database and pet-photo storage.
- PostHog for in-app product analytics and configured session replay.
- RevenueCat to coordinate subscription entitlements with Apple App Store or Google Play purchases.
- Apple or Google for app distribution, sign-in or subscription billing when you use their services.
- Netlify to host this website, if it is deployed there. The hosting provider may process standard technical request information to serve and secure the site.
These providers handle information under their own service terms and privacy practices. Vyre does not receive or store your full payment card number through in-app purchases.
Sharing and control
Vyre does not sell your personal information. If you use Shared Care, the pet and care details made available to invited household members are visible to those members while access remains active. You can manage or revoke shared access in the app. Do not share an invite with someone you do not trust with that information.
We do not use pet profile photos as analytics event properties. Photos you choose for a profile may be stored in cloud photo storage when your signed-in profile syncs.
Retention and deletion
We keep account and synced app information while needed to provide Vyre and until it is deleted or no longer needed for the purposes described here, subject to legal or security requirements. Some information may remain briefly in backups or provider systems after deletion.
You can request permanent account and associated app-data deletion from Settings → Delete account inside Vyre. Deleting your Vyre account does not cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription; manage or cancel that separately through the store where you subscribed.
Your choices
You can choose whether to add a pet photo, enable reminders, use shared care, or sign in to sync. Device notification permissions can be changed in your device settings. You can edit or remove profile details in the app and delete your account from Settings. You may also have privacy rights under the laws where you live.
For purchases, use the App Store or Google Play account that made the purchase to manage or cancel a subscription. For account deletion, use the in-app controls described above.
Children
Vyre is designed for adults responsible for a pet. It is not intended for children to create an account independently.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when Vyre's features or data practices change. The current version and update date will appear on this page.
Who operates Vyre?
Vyre is operated by PACARIZI. For privacy questions or requests you cannot complete in the app, email getvyre@gmail.com. For the fastest account-data action, use Settings → Delete account in the Vyre app.
